🔹 Okay, let’s break this one down together, shall we?

好，我们一起来拆解这段对话，好吗？

🔹 So imagine you’ve just bought a jumper.

（Jumper 是英国英语，等于美式英语里的 sweater，意思是“毛衣”。）

🔹 The next day, you pop back in and say:

第二天你回到店里，说：

🗣️ “Hi, I bought a jumper yesterday. It’s too big for me. Do you have a small jumper?”
“你好，我昨天买了一件毛衣，太大了。你们有小一点的吗？”

🔹 Pretty straightforward, right?

听起来很直接，对吧？

🔹 But in everyday British English, we might say:

但在英国日常口语中，我们更自然地会说：

🗣️ “Hi, I got this yesterday — it’s a bit big. Do you have it in a smaller size?”
“嗨，我昨天买的这件有点大，有小一码的吗？”

✨ 注意：“this” 代替 “jumper”，是更自然的表达方式。

🔹 Then the shop assistant says:

店员可能会说：

🗣️ “You mean you’d like to have it in a smaller size. Let me see... We have it in red in a medium. Is that okay?”
“你是想换成小一码的，对吧？我看看哦……我们有红色的 M 码，这样可以吗？”

🧠 **小贴士：**英国店员通常不会很强势，他们提供选择，然后由顾客自己决定。

🗣️ “Is that okay?” 是一种非常委婉的说法，相当于：
“这样可以吗？” / “你觉得合适吗？”

🔹 You reply:

你回答说：

🗣️ “That’s fine. Where can I try?”
“可以的。我在哪里可以试穿？”

🔹 They’ll likely say:

店员通常会说：

🗣️ “Fitting room is just round the corner.”
🗣️ 或者 “Fitting room just over there, love.”

📍 英国店里常说 fitting room（试衣间），而不是美式的 changing room。

🔹 Now you're trying things on, and you say:

你在试穿时可以说：

🗣️ “This is too tight. That is too big.”

你还可以说：

🗣️ “It’s a bit snug.”（有点紧）
🗣️ “It’s quite roomy.”（挺宽松）

🇬🇧 英国人喜欢轻描淡写的表达：
“a bit...”、“quite...” 这些都是他们的风格。
